Oh bless you, that sounds so tough. We are very lucky - he is such a chilled baby but, like you say, it doesn't really keep me occupied in the same way. It's a little ironic that they get more fun just as you have to spend less time with them, but I suppose that is life (and parenthood). x

I am so in awe of stay at home mums - this gig is so hard! He gets more interesting all the time, but I really am looking forward to the stage when we can have a conversation, like you say - that's when it gets good! x

Thank you! To be fair to him, I think his true terrorist days are ahead of him - I imagine you have far more on your hands with a kitten than we do with a baby who just lies in the middle of the floor for most of the day! x

It's really a great weekend break location - so many fancy shops and lots of great restaurants and bars. I know I'm biased, but I really would recommend it!

I love being a stay at home mum, but I could still associate with a lot of this - the newborn days are DULL. I always knew I'd like the toddler stage much more than the baby bit, though - kids are much more entertaining when you can have a conversation with them! Best of luck, whenever you decide to return to work.

They are soo much more fun in their second year when we have to go back to work! I'm a bit jealous your son is so good, mine cried pretty much constantly from the moment he was born to his first birthday. Didn't sleep or nap either. I guess it kept me occupied though...in a zombie-like state!

I first made these sometime last year, and now I can't count how often I've made them since - they were an immediate hit with friends and family! I've since adapted it with other types of chocolate - I've done Galaxy in place of Toblerone (with either Smarties or M&Ms mixed in), Dairy Milk with chocolate fingers, and Chocolate orange, all of which have been extremely successful!

I'm so glad I found this recipe - even though it now involves requests to bake every other week!

I think I've already said this to you on Twitter, but I completely agree that the most important thing is that you feel relaxed and able to bond with your baby. Deciding to stop breastfeeding was really hard for me, but as soon as that choice was made, I felt better - I haven't once regretted it; it was absolutely the best thing for my family.
